The Official reports of PlayStation 5 game file sizes at launch have given people some idea of what to expect from the upcoming PS5 storage requirements. The biggest selling features in Sony's PS5 release are its specs and technological advancements, and the console's SSD is one of its major features, which is predicting to be best in the device and a major boom for loading times and other capabilities.
Due to PS5 pre-order controversy, Sony has begun to settle things down, assuring the infrastructure upon official sites and channels to purchase PlayStation. But purchasing a PlayStation 5 always remains a difficult proposition, as Sony revealed its next-gen console (PS5) would be directly competing with Xbox Series X & Series S pricing but it looks like that PS5 would be more costly. However, people are still disappointing that they may have missed the PS5 pre-order.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Demon's Souls both will take up a lot of space on PS5's SSD.
Start discussing space for your PS5 games on the system's SSD, they are going to take up a lot of space. On Sony's PlayStation Direct website, from where you buy PlayStation games and accessories directly from the company store, Spider-Man: Miles Morales & Demon's Souls both have their estimated file sizes, that shall take up to 20% of your PlayStation's 5 SSD. Spider-Man: Miles Morales standard version will take up 50GB, while the Ultimate Edition (packs in a copy of Spider-Man: Remastered) will take up 105GB of space. While Demon's Souls is a full remake of the PS3 game and will take up about 66GB.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice takes up about 13GB on PS4. The PlayStation 3 version of Demon's Souls takes space less than 8GB.
These file sizes can get even bigger after updates also. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has done some controversy this generation for larger file sizes over 100GB, and with these higher-resolution textured games shall become a problem for PS5. The PS5's 825GB capacity is lower than the PS4 Pro, but it will support expansion cards to increase that storage space, but those were expensive and seems to be out of range for many people.
The PS5 is now releasing on November 12 with its 2 versions: one is a $499 standard console and the second one is a $399 digital edition. But in performance comparison, these consoles would be similar and you would not lose any feature or performance from these two devices either you choose standard or digital edition.
